The comfortable bed and friendly staff at Gili Mesari Cottages made my backpacking experience even better. the fantastic location allowed me to explore Gili Trawangan easily.

I felt special during my stay and had no complaints.

We recently stayed at Gili Mesari Cottages & Homestay for a week-long vacation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with the best night's sleep we've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home every time we entered the premises. The location of the homestay was fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the main street, yet incredibly quiet and peaceful. The rooms were spacious and clean, complete with private bathrooms. We particularly enjoyed the lovely greenery in front of the rooms, adding to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast, especially the banana pancakes, was absolutely delicious, and we also appreciated the presence of a ceiling fan in our room.

Would recommend this hotel.

Location: Great location, close to the main area for bars/restaurants but still quiet. Easy access to all the attractions on the island. Friendly Staff: the staff were very attentive and helpful. They cleaned our rooms daily, did our laundry, and were always available to assist. Tasty Breakfast: We enjoyed delicious banana pancakes for breakfast every morning. It was a great way to start the day. Reliable Wi-Fi and Shower: the Wi-Fi connection was exceptional for an island location, allowing us to stay connected. the shower had good water pressure and always had hot water. Nice little comforts while away from home.

We had a fantastic stay at Gili Mesari Cottages & Homestay. the location was perfect for us - it was close to the main area for bars and restaurants, but set back enough that it was quiet and peaceful. the staff were incredibly attentive, always there to assist us with anything we needed. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and the staff even put our laundry out in the sun when we were out for the day. the breakfast, especially the banana pancakes, was delicious. the accommodation itself was spacious and clean, and while the shower wasn't always hot, it was never freezing cold. the staff also helped us hire bikes, which made exploring the island a breeze. We loved our stay so much that we extended it by 3 days because we didn't want to leave. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.

While the stay was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. Our room had a few cockroaches, which required us to shake our clothes to ensure they didn't get into our luggage.
